After lying dormant and hidden for more than two years I have decided to put it back to life. I’m not sure whether I will continue to post, but at least I will try to put it up as it once was.

While having the text back was easy, despite having moved between several blogging platforms since first posting, what took longer time was bringing the photos back, and some may still be missing.

For now the site is functional, and I have removed some posts that linked to now deleted/defunct sites. Hopefully I have managed to edit out all broken links.

I will also have to update the Nescafe country reviews, as some products may have been discontinued, while others have been added. These will take some time to complete, so bear with me.

In her post she promotes the delights of Nescafe served in a…hmmm…”new” way:

When I used to live in Greece, all the coffee houses used NesCafe for all their hot & cold drinks; when made right, these coffees will beat anything Starbucks can put out in a New York minute!

So if you want to test her theory, just pull out your shaker or your hand mixer, use 1-1/4 tsp. of NesCafe in a tall glass with abt. an inch of milk in the bottom [and as much sugar as you need] and blend it until you get a thick, creamy froth. Then slowly pour your cold water [and more milk if you need it] without wrecking the foam and possibly add a few ice cubes.

It’s summer, it’s hot, and I think I’m gonna try this :-)

Well, I am not about to answer that question in my post this morning, but I am glad to see that fair trade Nescafé coffee has finally found its way to Norway. In fact, it is so new that the Norwegian label on the back is a simple white sticker put on top of the original label.

IT’s just the good old Nescafe Gold in a new packaging, I thought, but when I tasted it it, it was remarkably different from the usual Nescafe Gold. According to the Nescafe Norway website it is indeed a unique blend of Arabica coffee beans from Kenya, Etiopia and Central America, giving it a fruity and fresh taste…Hm, not sure about that, but is it a good Nescafe? Yes, most definitely!

First aired in Britain, this is a series of advertisements for “Nescafe Gold Blend” instant coffee, which involved next door neighbors played by Sharon Maughan and Anthony Head popping round to each other’s houses to borrow some coffee.

Seen in sequence, the ads tell the story of a budding romance between the two neighbors, and many viewers were as caught up by their story as by anything else on TV. I don’t remember all of the ads, but apparently they do kiss in the end :-)

Not personally, but a blog I have visited before. It’s Cecile Cinco and her recycling talents. I’m really amazed at what she does to her Nescafé sachets. Now I wonder, does she drink all this Nescafé herself, or just collect the sachets from her friends and family? This time she made Nescafé Sachets Turned Into Snake. Actually it’s her kids that made it. I find it very commendable that she teaches her kids how to recycle and how to craft with very little. It’s so true, you don’t have to visit an overpriced craft store to get ideas, you can simply visit Global Recycled Products.
