Nescafé or Senseo? Or both?

Nestlé, home to Nescafé, has it its Nespresso and Dolce Gusto single serve coffee machines, Douwe Egberts has teamed up with Philips to create Senseo. So far I had been blissfully unaware there even existed a Senseo coffee machine. Yes, I had seen the Senseo coffee range, but since I’m into Nescafé and not into Douwe Egberts I did not pay much attention to it. It was just another type of coffee not meant for me.

That was until I noticed Nescafé Cappuccino coffee pads on the Nescafé Germany website and decided to find out more about them, because I wanted to try that new type of Nescafé “instant” coffee. That’s how I found out that I needed a Senseo coffee machine first. Not much instant about this kind of coffee haha. Bummer!

So now I wonder what to buy, Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, or Senseo, or maybe even something completely different? There’s actually a whole range of so-called single-serve coffe machines, which you can read more about here: Nah, maybe I should just stick to my regular Nescafé? Keep it simple.

  • Nothing beats a cup of Nescafé, and I prefer it simple – straight from the sachet – goes well with a morning paper, or an afternoon business report, or a marketing book at night.

This is a great blog, so far, I guess, the best blog I’ve ever seen. Simple, clean and topics are worth a cup of Nescafé. I’m a newbie blogger, I can learn a lot from you. Perhaps, one day, we could both have a Nesacfé cup or two and talk about blogging. Lol.
