Nestlé, home to Nescafé, has it its Nespresso and Dolce Gusto single serve coffee machines, Douwe Egberts has teamed up with Philips to create Senseo. So far I had been blissfully unaware there even existed a Senseo coffee machine. Yes, I had seen the Senseo coffee range, but since I’m into Nescafé and not into Douwe Egberts I did not pay much attention to it. It was just another type of coffee not meant for me.
That was until I noticed Nescafé Cappuccino coffee pads on the Nescafé Germany website and decided to find out more about them, because I wanted to try that new type of Nescafé “instant” coffee. That’s how I found out that I needed a Senseo coffee machine first. Not much instant about this kind of coffee haha. Bummer!
So now I wonder what to buy, Nespresso, Dolce Gusto, or Senseo, or maybe even something completely different? There’s actually a whole range of so-called single-serve coffe machines, which you can read more about here: www.singleservecoffee.com. Nah, maybe I should just stick to my regular Nescafé? Keep it simple.
